Detail Itinerary

Day 1 - Hochiminh City
When you arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, your guide will welcome you with Green Trail Tours sign and your name; transfer you to your hotel with private can/van. Then our local guide will be with you to explore this city. Visit to the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Then take a photo stop at some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. Continue to visit the War Museum, Ben Thanh market for shopping. Dinner at your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 2 - Hochiminh City - Mekong Delta
Leave at 8:00 from your hotel for Cai Be floating market where approximately 400 -500 boats filled with fruits, vegetables and other products anchor a long the banks of the river daily, wait for traders and customers. The merchandise sold in each boat is hung on a high pole in front of the boat as a sample to attract customers from a distance. Then, visit local garden and house to see orchard, rice crisped producing process, etc. Lunch on your own. Cruise along Tien river to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire marvelous nature of Mekong Delta region. Arrive at Vinh Long Market at about 15:00 and walk around to explore Vinh Long Market. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh stop at bonsai garden. Come back to your hotel in the late evening. Dinner at your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 3 - Hochiminh City - Hoi An
After breakfast, free time on your own to explore this city until our guide picks you up from the hotel to the airport to catch the flight to Nha Trang. On arrival, our local guide will meet you and start our costal road journey. You will arrive in Hoian in the late afternoon. Dinner at your hotel.Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 4 - Hoi An
Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. Morning take a walking tour of the old town center to visit the former merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and the colorful market. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5 - Hoi An - My Son
Exploring Cham Culture begins with the real temples and sanctuaries at My Son - the religious center of Cham people in Vietnam. After the My Son complex was discovered, many of its artifacts, especially statues of female dancers and genies worshipped by the Cham people, worshipped animals and artifacts of the daily communal activities were collected and displayed at the Cham Architecture Museum established from 1915 in Danang city. In the afternoon, discover the life of Cham people at Cham Museum. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 6 - Hoi An - Hue
After breakfast at hotel, your guide will meet you and drive to Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Along the coastline, you will enjoy the wonderful view of Lang Co beach – one of the most beautiful beaches of Vietnam, and Hai Van pass. On arrival, we start the tour with a visit to the Imperial Citadel and tour the Forbidden Purple City. Afterwards take a boat cruise on the Perfume Rive to the King Minh Mang Tomb, King Tu Duc Tomb and Thien Mu Pagoda. Stay overnight in Hue.

Day 7 - Hue - Hanoi - Lao Cai
Take morning flight to Hanoi, one of the most important cities in Vietnam. Your guide will meet you at airport and lead you to have city tour , we will visit Ho Chi Minh President Mausoleum and Museum, One pillar pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda, Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam, Army museum (or Art museum, History museum, Women museum is at your choice). Wonder around Hoan Kiem Lake then visit Ngocson Temple.

Dinner at a local restaurant. In the evening, we will wave "goodbye" to Hanoi, take the night train to the border town, Lao Cai. Stay overnight at soft sleeper private cabin with four berths.

Day 8 - Lao Cai - Sapa
It'll probably be a bit of a shock when we rouse you at five in the morning, but
Breakfast and the crisp fresh air of the mountains will soon wake you up.

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 06:00am. On your arrival, one of our representatives will be waiting for you with IOT Welcoming Board. The drive to Sapa is about 33km, but it takes around 1 hour. Once at Sapa, we will check into the Hotel, and have time to freshen up, and have breakfast at the hotel. Then you will enjoy a free morning to explore around the small & charming town. At 10:00am we will meet you again and start a walking tour from hotel to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, home to H'mong hill tribe minority people. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local people minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area. Stay overnight in Sapa.

Day 9 - Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi
Get up early for breakfast, check out of the hotel, and then drive to Bac Ha market (106 km). Just before reaching the market we will see colorful activity, beautiful flower Hmong people carrying hand-crafted products or pulling dogs or buffalos, all on their way to the market. You are free to wonder around the market and become a part of the trading activities. Please be respectful to the locals as they are reluctant to have their photo taken without permission. In the afternoon, we transfer to Lao Cai town. Dinner here on your own before boarding the train at 21:00 pm back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at about 5:00 am.

Day 10 - Hanoi - Ninh Binh

Arrive Hanoi early morning around 500am. Have a bath in Mango hotel in Hanoi and have breakfast. Coach trip to Ninh Binh, the south, ancient capital of Vietnam. Take rowing boat trip along the canal between majestic mountain ranges and endless yellow rice fields. Visit Tam Coc Caves well known as the Halong Bay on land. Worship at well-known BichDong pagoda. Lunch at local restaurant
In the afternoon, back to visit Hoa Lu, Ancient capital with King Dinh and Le temple, back to the history with the legend about this land and people, how can they vectored over Song Invader and why the Ly king must transfer the capital to Hanoi. Check in Hotel.
Overnight in Hanoi

Day 11 - Hanoi - Mai Chau
Leave Hanoi at 7:30 for Mai chau, enjoy beautiful mountain view on the way, Have lunch at Lac village on arrival and have a rest. Take a short trek to visit Thai people around to understand the daily life of ethnic people. Back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 12 - Hanoi - Halong Bay
08.30-13.00: Leave your hotel at 8.30 and proceed to Halong city. Arrive at Emeraude Pier at 12.00 AM. Welcomed by Emeraude staff, embark the Emeraude and enjoy welcome drink, fruit
13.00-16.00: Cruise around to perceive the beauty of Halong Bay. Vietnamese buffet lunch is served in the Emeraude restaurant from 13.00-14.30: Stop to visit Surprising Cave then enjoy the view from the sun deck, or relax for professional massage (this optional service is not include in our quote). Continue cruising on Halong bay.
16.00-18.30: Anchor near Trinh Nu & Hang Trong caves. Swimming, Kayaking if weather permitted (Kayaking is optional, so not included in our service)
19.00-21.00: Vietnamese buffet dinner is served in the Emeraude dining room. The Emeraude anchor between breathtaking Trinh Nu and Hang Trong Caves. Overnight on board.

Day 13 - Halong Bay - Hanoi - Luang Prabang
07.00: Attend in a Tai chi course to relax yourself in the early morning of Orient or wake up early to see Sunrise.
07.00 - 09.00: The Emeraude sail once again through the breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay heading to Halong city, enjoy breakfast with European buffet breakfast at the Emeraude restaurant.
09.00-09.30: Check out
09.30-10.00: Transfer by shuttle boat to Emeraude Pier. Pick-up by our car.
10.00 till afternoon: Optional to visit one of these places (we offer free of charge): Tuan Chau island, Dong Trieu Ceramic Village (near Halong), Bat Trang Pottery village (near Hanoi), Dau Pagoda or But Thap Pagodas.

Return Hanoi and go straight to Noi Bai airport, then we take late afternoon flight to Luang Prabang, the ancient first capital of Lane Xang kingdom, the center of religious life in Laos and today the World Heritage City. On arrival, your guide will welcome you and escort you to your hotel for rest. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 14 - Luang Prabang - Kuangsi Waterfall - Pak Ou Cave
First we visit the morning Phousi Market, where you will see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings. Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, and today you will visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, a Hmong village, Ban Ou a Laoloum village and Ban Thapene, Khmu villages. This then takes us to the beautiful Khuang Si Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails. We then return to Luang Prabang. This afternoon is free at leisure to relax. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 15 - Luang Prabang - Xieng Khouang
Today, we make the days drive through wonderful natural scenery to Xieng Khouang. The journey will give you plenty of opportunities for photos and visiting hill tribe villages. Upon arrival, we transfer out to visit Site 1 of the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site where hundreds of large stone jars are scattered all over the plateau. Overnight in Xieng Khouang.

Day 16 - Xieng Khouang - Vientiane
After breakfast, visit local market then explore Hmong & Tai Dam minorities. If time permits explore the old capital Muang Khoun and additional jar sites plus nearby Hmong villages before transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Vientiane. Upon your arrival continue our trip to visit Vientiane attraction places for instance That Luang Stupa, Patouxai Park and Sisaket Temple. Sunset over the Mekong river. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 17 - Vientiane - Pakse - Khong Island
After early breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Pakse. Upon arrival meet our guide, then excursion by road (coffee road) toward Paksong District stop over at Km 35 to visit the famous Tad Fan Waterfall and ethnic villages in the surrounding area then continue by road to Champasack. In the afternoon visit Wat Phou (Kmer ruin dated 11th century) then take a drive toward Khong Island. Overnight in Khong Island.

Day 18 - Khong Island - Don Khone Island - Pakse
After early breakfast , catch the boat to Don Khone ( 1 hour trip ) visit the famous Liphi ( Devil Corridor ), if you are lucky you can enjoy watching the Irriwady dolphins ( around 06:00-09:00 AM or 16:00-18:00 PM ) and the remnants of the French colonial area ( old pier, stream rail way , former French hospital building and messagerie Maritime Office) then catch the ferry boat to Ban Nakasang village and take a drive to visit Khon Phapheng ( Niagara of Asia ).Return trip to Pakse. Overnight in Pakse.

Day 19 - Pakse - Siem Reap
After breakfast, you will be free to explore this city until our local guide meets you and transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon your arrival, visit Ta Prohm, one of the area's most beautiful temples. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake), Ta Som, built in late 12th century C.E. the most distant temple on the grand circuit, small but classic. Preah Khan temple, Built by the King Jayavarman VII. Visit the unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang ("The Royal Baths" was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4 concentric walls) and Ta Keo, constructed in late 10th early 11th century. Overnight at Siem Reap

Day 20 - Siem Reap - Angkor Thom
After breakfast, visit Angkor Thom South Gate, Bayon, Baphoun, Elephant terrace, Basei Chamkrong, Leper King Terrace, Royal Enclosure, etc. Return to Siem Reap for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat, then contemplate the glorious sunset from the top of Phnom Bakheng hill. Dinner on guests account. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 21 - Siem Reap - Phnom Penh
Breakfast at hotel, free leisure and transfer to domestic airport fly to Phnom Penh, welcome by local English speaking guide and transfer check in hotel. Then departure to visit short city tour: Independence monument, Wat Phnom (Hill of pagoda), National museum and walking along road Sisovath on the Mekong River, dinner at hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 22 - Phnom Penh
After breakfast at your hotel. Then, we have a city tour to Royal Palace and Silver pagoda, Russian market, Genocide S.21 Museum Toul Sleng and Killing fields. Then take a boat cruise a hours to admire sunset on the Mekong River. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 23 - Phnom Penh - Hochiminh City
Today, you will be free until your transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. On arrival, our local guide will meet you and transfer to the city to have a short visit and have a dinner before your departure flight. End of the service.
